Join author Michael R. Virgintino as he introduces his new book, Freedomland USA that documents the history, from conception to bankruptcy, one of the most innovative and beloved theme parks in Ammerica, NYC's Freedomland USA. Woodlawn connections Duke Ellington and Lionel Hampton performed at the park and R.H. Macy's original store was recreated in the park's Little Old New York themed area. The presentation will include vintage film with many never-before-published photos and memorabilia display from the author's collection. Books will be available for sale.
